      <description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Recently, legislation was introduced in Michigan to eliminate the sales tax exception on vending machines.  The legislation requires the tax to be calculated from the gross sales at retail value.  MCMOA is opposed to the legislation and has asked our governmental affairs group to follow this legislation closely.  We will keep our members posted if anything further develops with this issue.</span></p><br /><a href='http://www.mcmoa.com'>Admin</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='http://www.mcmoa.com/senate-bill-228.aspx'>...</a>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">In the past few months many locations have had countertops stolen by individuals posing as service technicians.  This has occurred at various times of the day, mostly in and around the Detroit area.  </span></p>
